Golden and Silver metal shards bursting, lava melting, smoke fuming, water flowing and our very own pulsations of blood in our veins are natural occurrences that inspire my color choices. Through a meditative action of patterning and repeated mark making, I look to embody Nature’s creative attributes of fluid, transformative power. In my work I am looking to create images that seem as though they are expanding and contracting at the same time.

 

Through my personal exploration of linking mark making with the gesture of vibrational movement, I look to create visual commonalities in our creative, biological  structure in comparison to the natural phenomena of the landscape, the plants and animals.
